PALACE House United celebrated another highly successful year with a presentation evening at Lowerhouse Cricket Club last Friday.
In the under 13s Blackburn, Darwen and Hyndburn league, Palace House United came out on top of the Premier Division, just one year after winning the league below.

David Wright was crowned manager's player of the year, with Jack Houlker taking the club's players' player of the year award. Joe Rodriguez won the Golden Boot for most goals scored, and Shaun Whittaker was named the most improved player for the season.

Young Burnley FC striker Jay Rodriguez presented the trophies to the lads on an enjoyable evening.

l Palace House United would like to thank Asda Burnley and Morrisons Nelson for allowing them to do a bag pack, which was a great success.

The bag pack was part of a fundraising drive that has seen much-needed funds brought into the club, but a decision was made to also donate some of the money to charity.

At the presentation evening Mrs Erin Bolton from Macmillan Cancer Support was presented with a cheque for £520.

Palace House United are looking for sponsors. For more information contact Roy Sanderson (01254 885650) or Chris Price (416081).

The club is also looking for players at under 14 level. Contact manager Chris Price for more information (416081).
