BURNLEY Thai Boxing Club had three fighters in action in Leeds recently.
Nakita Morrison, 18, fought at 50 kilos and was denied victory by a contentious decision from the judges.

Everyone in the crowd felt she had done enough to win the bout, having floored her opponent twice in the three rounds.

But the hard-working youngster, who trained six times a week in the six weeks prior to the fight, could be happy with her performance.

Light heavyweight George Sinclair stopped his opponent in the second round, with his corner throwing the towel in before the referee stopped the contest.

Sinclair dominated the first round, and stepped it up in the second, moving through the gears for a convincing victory.

And Danny Gibson, at light welterweight, won all three rounds in his fight to take a comfortable decision.

Both lads were there to fight, and Danny showed real determination and heart to come through.
