SCORES of young people threw themselves into a fun free afternoon of sports as part of a big activity launch.
Young people aged 11 to 19 are taking part in the Sport Unlimited Programme, giving them more opportunities to take part in sports activities.

Basketball, trampolining, swimming, gym, aerobics and badminton are just some of the activities taken up by the youngsters, as part of a national project to offer young people five hours of PE and sport every week.

The launch was free, but the Wednesday afternoon sessions will be 50p, and fit in with the afternoon when high schools shut for the Building Schools For The Future meetings.
