YET another prominent Clarets fan has passed on his congratulations to the giant-killing team.
The Archbishop of Durban in South Africa, Cardinal Wilfrid Fox Napier, emailed the Burnley Express in the aftermath of Burnley's remarkable victory over Chelsea in the Carling Cup.

He said: "Like all Burnley supporters I was over the moon when I h
eard the news we had prevailed over the great Chelsea side of stars.

"I don't want to bring divine intervention into the picture, but I was on retreat on Wednesday and Thursday. You can imagine my reaction when I saw the newspaper with the match report.

"It reminded me of the fantastic win over Liverpool in the FA Cup a couple of years ago.

"Please pass my fondest greetings on to all the Claret fans in Burnley and around the globe. I look forward to the next scalp our boys will bring home."
