CLARETS winger Wade Elliott has been shortlisted for the Championship Player of the Year at the North West Football Awards.
The two-time Burnley Player of the Year is looking to succeed Michael Duff, who was crowned the 2006/07 Championship Footballer of the Year in 2007.
Elliott is one of three players shortlisted to lift the award at a prestigious ceremony on Monday, November 17th at the Midland Hotel in Manchester.
The other players in contention are Preston centre back Sean St Ledger and Blackpool left back Stephen Crainey.
