OWEN Coyle will not relent from his ambitious brand of football when Burnley go head to head with Arsene Wenger's exciting young Gunners.
The Clarets' reward for their stunning Carling Cup win over Chelsea was a home draw with Arsenal.
Coyle is looking forward to facing Arsenal for the second time in his tenure, after the narrow FA Cup defeat in January.
But with three league games before the quarter-final, he is eager to press home Burnley's promising position in the Coca-Cola Championshp first.
He said: "We'll try to take the game to them and be positive, but we'll deal with that when it comes. There are some big games for us before that."
Wenger is expected to field a young side, including former loan man Mark Randall and 16-year-old prospect Jack Wilshire, but Coyle anticipates a tough challenge: "As much as you call them kids, I think they play with all the game awareness of experienced international players.
"I'd asked for a home draw and if that's the team that comes, or whoever it is, then it's a great game for Burnley Football Club to be looking forward to.
"I think it's great that we're talking about being in the last eight first and foremost; the fact that we've been drawn at home to Arsenal, then we'll give everything we've got when it comes about."
Midfielder Alan Mahon is also keen for the chance to line-up against some of the best young talent in Europe: "It's a good draw. They're the teams you want to play against.
"But we've got more league games to come, so when the Arsenal comes about we'll talk about it then."
